My research field is mechanics and my areas of interests are dynamics, analytical mechanics of rigid and non-rigid structures, vibration of beams, mechanics of soft robots and locomotion.

Course Content: Introduction to Mechanics, Statics of Particles, Rigid Bodies, Equivalent Systems of Forces, Equilibrium of Rigid Bodies, Distributed Forces, Centroids and Centers of Gravity, Analysis of Structures, Forces in Beams and Cables, Friction, Distributed Forces, Moments of Inertia, Method of Virtual Work.
Course Content: Vector Functions, Differential Characteristics of the Curves, Kinematics; Kinematics of Particles, Linear, Plane and General Motions, Relative Motions, Kinematics of Rigid Bodies, Translation, Rotation about a Fixed Axis, General Plane Motion, Plane Motions of a Particle Relative to a Rotating Frame, Kinetics; Kinetics of Particles, Newton’s Laws, Impulse and Momentum Principle, Work and Energy, Kinetics of Rigid Bodies, Fixed-Axis Rotation of Rigid Body, Plane Motion of Rigid Body, Work and Energy, Impulse and Momentum Principle.
